Letters Of Note è un blog che raccoglie alcune lettere autografe di personaggi che hanno segnato la storia.

Una tra le più interssanti è quella di un soldato americano che scrive a casa dopo la sua breve prigionia a Dresda durante l'ultimo anno della seconda guerra mondiale. Il soldato è Kurt Vonnegut che scrive a casa

"On about February 14th the Americans came over, followed by the R.A.F. their combined labors killed 250,000 people in twenty-four hours and destroyed all of Dresden -- possibly the world's most beautiful city. But not me. "

Devo raccontarlo a mio padre. Anche lui essendo sopravvissuto può dire "But not me."
